Paul’s Band Could Face Fight Over Name

Paul Cattermole’s new band Skua could face a rocky start – as a band with the same name already exists! They are a Swedish “heavy grooverock” outfit that specialise in psychedelic, progressive jazzrock.

It’s believed that S Club star Paul’s band is a nu-metal outfit. “It was kind of like Rage Against the Machine, but six or seven years ago. We used to write our own tunes so the vibe was much more creative and organic.”

In the past other bands have been forced to change their name if another band with the same name already exists. Earlier this year Liberty were forced to rename themselves Liberty X because a band with the name Liberty had had a few hits in the early 1990s.
