No Dopes In S Club
Simon Fuller has ordered that S Club 7′s dope shame is left out of the group’s forthcoming biography.
The band’s boss has spent £100,000 of his own money on the official biography of S Club 7 – who are now called S Club after Paul Cattermole left the band. But Fuller has banned any reference to the scandal when the group’s Jon Lee and Bradley McIntosh and Paul were arrested for smoking a joint in London’s Covent Garden last year.
Author Jenny Jones will chronicle the life of the chart-topping act since they were formed in 1998. A source said: “It’s strange for Simon to use his own money but he’s a canny businessman. He more than knows what he’s doing.” Once Simon has OK’d the final draft, he will sell the rights to a major publishing house.
