Rachel and new husband Alex enjoy stay-cation honeymoon

Rachel Stevens and new husband Alex Bourne haven’t exactly been pushing the boat out since they tied the knot on Sunday.

The thrifty pair were spotted taking advantage of a 2-for-1 pizza offer at an Italian restaurant chain. Then it was off to the dry cleaners to drop off some laundry.

And rather than jetting off to somewhere sunny, the loved-up couple, both 31, have opted to spend a few days in rainy London. Rachel joked: “Why do we need to go abroad when the weather’s like this?”

Despite the grey skies, she and Alex were in sparkly mood as they showed off their shiny new wedding rings.

Friends say they are planning a proper honeymoon eventually, but for now they’re happy to stay close to home.
