S Club Missed Out on Top Spot

S Club have missed out on number one by the tightest of margins with their last ever single, Say Goodbye/Love Ain’t Gonna Wait For You, that went straight in at two in the UK singles chart. US star R Kelly held onto the top spot for a fourth week with Ignition Remix, battling off S Club and other big new entries.

S Club’s new album BeSt, released this week, looks likely to enter the album charts at number two.
