Lostprophets cover Rachel

The Lostprophets are to release their version of a Rachel Stevens song as part of their next single.

The Welsh nu-metal band’s new single Last Summer will come out in two different versions as a CD, one of which will include their cover of Sweet Dreams My LA Ex.

The other version will include a cover of Phil Collins In the Air Tonight, as well as a live cover of The Strokes’ Reptilia recorded at this year’s Glastonbury. A vinyl version will include a cover of The Cure’s Boys Don’t Cry, says the NME.

The single is released on August 23, timed to coincide with the band’s appearance at the Reading and Leeds festivals.
