S Club Jo Food Hell

Former S Club 7 beauty Jo O’Meara has told how she piled on the pounds comfort-eating when she got depressed about performing with skinny bandmates.

The star, 26, got so down over her “S Chub” nickname she made it worse scoffing burgers, take-aways, chocs and crisps.

Jo revealed: “I felt self-conscious next to Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett and Hannah Spearritt.

“Then I got depressed about getting fat, so I’d eat more.”

But after shedding over a stone the star is looking forward to her first solo album next month.
