S Club: This Love’s For Real

S Club 7 have slammed suggestions that the relationship between bandmates Paul Cattermole and Hannah Spearritt is a publicity stunt.

The group say it was a complete coincidence that the pair’s announcement of their love was made just as they launched a publicity campaign for a new single and album.

Paul says, “Basically, we’ve known each other for a long, long time and we just got closer and closer being in a band and working together. We’re very very happy. She’s lovely!”

Hannah adds, “We got together about six months ago, I think, and we have just fallen in love. It’s not fake, but I suppose it might seem like that. It was time, to be honest really, because it had been going on for a while and we didn’t want to – and couldn’t – hide it for much longer.”
