Pop star Rachel Stevens is madly in love and has been daydreaming about her fairytale wedding ever since her fiance, Holby City star Jeremy Edwards, proposed on Valentine’s Day. She knows exactly what she wants to make the day complete – a gorgeous dress and a classy setting – but she’s determined not to go for anything TOO showbiz and flashy.

“I just want a really beautiful, elegant day with all my family and close friends there,” says the 24-year-old S Club star. “I don’t want a massive occasion. I don’t need to hold it at a castle like Paul McCartney and Heather Mills.

Why Has Paul Left?

Why has Paul gone? It’s the question on everyone’s lips. Has he had a tiff with Hannah? Is he too busy dying his hair again? One thing’s for sure – in the happy world of S Club 7, Paul has increasingly been sticking out like a sore thumb.

Things have started to change – and not just because he’s started going out with Hannah. In a recent interview with CBBC Newsround Online, Paul told how he loved rock music and that he used to be in a rock band. It seems he wants to go back to his roots and join the nu metal crowd. Maybe he hopes to be like Limp Bizkit or Sum 41?

What will you miss most about being in S Club 7?

I think Hannah, to be honest.

Will you miss performing for all the fans?

Of course! I’ll miss that massively, too! That’s kinda what you do it for – the performing. You do it to get in front of a crowd and be an entertainer, because there’s a part of you that loves the adoration of the crowd – that’s why you do it.

The Love Club

Hannah Spearritt and Paul Cattermole have been band-mates and best friends for seven years, but six months ago they decided to be something more. Hannah gives us the lowdown on the love affair that’s changed S Club 7 forever.

The news of your romance with Paul has only recently been revealed, but we understand you’ve been together for the last six monthsâ€¦

Yeah! [laughs]

Did you guys decide to come clean consciously or did the tabloid newspapers find out about it first?

No, we did actually come out with it – which is very unlike me. People were bound to find out anyway and we’ve been hiding for a long time. We thought that we would be honest and be comfortable with each other.

You can’t hide forever and we’re private people – it’s not like us to display our relationship in the paper. But I think for the episode [in the S Club 7 TV series, Hollywood 7] coming out next, there’s kissing and that’s going to bring about questions. So we thought we’d come out and tell it our way.

Rachel – Pride

When was the last time you felt really proud?

It has to be when we were on tour. It wasn’t that I was just proud of myself, I was proud of everybody. It’s such an achievement to go on tour and we’d waited so long to do it.

When did you last feel you should swallow your pride and apologise?

I can be quite stubborn, but I can see if I’m in the wrong and I don’t mind apologising. I hate arguing anyway, so I tend not to fall out with people very often. I haven’t needed to apologise lately because I haven’t had an argument in a long time. The last time was probably with my boyfriend.

S Club Column

Hey there, it’s been left to me to give you all the S Club goss and dish the dirt. Can I find any though?

Let’s get physical!

We’re in Sweden at the moment and we’ve just finished doing a gig in front of loads of uni students and I’m spending most of my time in bed watching movies like The Family Man and Quills. I did go to the gym though, which was quite an event for me! Actually, that’s probably why I had to spend so much time in bed – cos I was all bruised and battered!

Holidays are great – we’ve all just had a week off! I spent most of my time recovering from jet lag but at least I managed to unpack – just! All my mates came round to mine for a girlie night in and it was nothing too mad but great fun. Hannah, Jon and Paul are really into skiing, so they all went on holiday to Chamonix in France.

The Bold & The Beautiful

We chill on the beach in LA with Rachel and Bradley S Club to talk romantic rumours, being sexy and what it’s like to feel superhuman…

Rachel Stevens & Bradley McIntosh There’s something a little special about S Club 7. They ooze sex but never go over the top. They’ve been over us for years and even have their own TV show but no one’s ever accused them of being over-exposed. They’ve had their share of tabloid scandal and although slightly dented, their reputation is still sparkling. And since the dancefloor devastation that was Don’t Stop Movin’, they’re the pop stars that all the cool kids – and their big brothers – are into. Other bands might be labelled flop stars, but S Club 7 are the sophisticated survivors of the pop – and we just can’t get enough of ‘em.

Today we’re at the beach in sunny LA with Rachel and Bradley who have taken a few hours off from filming the band’s new series for our glamorous cover shoot. A crowd of American fans watch in awe as the tanned pop stars strip off for the camera while the other S Clubbers sit on the sand chatting, eating hamburgers and enjoying the opportunity to chill and sunbathe.

The Girls on Love and Fame

Lovely blonde Jo O’Meara has one wish for next year – time off to get married. Jo, 21, is dreaming of a big white wedding to fiancÃ© Lee, a mechanic. She says: “I can’t wait to tie the knot and I want the girls from the band as bridesmaids and Jon singing in church.” The couple met when Jo’s sister married Lee’s brother and they have been together for three years. But they nearly split up when Jo joined S Club 7.

She says: “Signing up for the band was just the best thing but it nearly ruined our relationship. “When the group went to Miami for the first time I cried every day. I just wanted to come home and it put a real strain on me and Lee. “Within weeks I was thinking it was a big mistake. I’d never done much acting, never been away from Lee, never even been abroad and here I was on the other side of the world making a TV show with six strangers. “If our relationship hadn’t been so strong it wouldn’t have lasted.”
