I finally met S Club after 5 years!

On Monday (7th April ’03) me and my mum rushed up to the cinemas on Cranbourn Street in Leicester Square, London. That was where the premiere to S Clubs new movie “Seeing Double” was being held. I didn’t have tickets I just wanted to wait outside the cinema for the slight chance that S Club might arrive. My mum kept saying “you won’t meet them there probably wont even be anyone up there,” but I didn’t want to take that risk.

When we found the cinema it was like an S Club Heaven. The street was packed with thousands of screaming fans, there were S Club posters hanging all down the street. It was such an amazing atmosphere. There were barriers either side of the street holding the fans back; we got a spot right at the front next to the cinema. Every time a car started coming up the road everyone began screaming, but it was competition winners every time. Until…

Two big cars started coming down the street and the crowds went wild. They stopped right in front of me, and S Club got out of the cars. I was screaming and crying with happiness at the same time because I have loved S Club non-stop for 5 years and the moment had finally come when I got to meet them for the very first time. Paul first came over to me and gave me a kiss and hug and signed my poster. Each of them came over, but when Jo came over I was amazed because she is my favourite, she came and gave me a kiss and hug, I had my photo taken with her and got her autograph.

As she went to sign the next persons autograph I burst out crying with happiness. My mum called out “Jo, Jo, she’s crying. You’re her favourite and she’s waited 5 years to meet you!” Jo came back over and said “awww babe, don’t cry, awww darling come here” she hugged me again. I couldn’t believe it, it was the best feeling ever.
