Spring leaf collection

The Borough of Sewickley will be running its spring leaf collection program from April 5 to 16, weather permitting.

Sheets should be placed between the curb and the sidewalk and not on the street. Clippings of brush, grass and shrubs should not be mixed with the leaves. Grass and shrub clippings should be bagged for weekly garbage collection. Branches should be cut to 4 ‘lengths and bundled. Waste Management, the borough’s waste collection carrier, will not pick up branches unless it is done. The borough will only pick up branches after a thunderstorm.

YMCA Summer Camp

This summer, let your kids be kids again at the Sewickley Valley YMCA Summer Day Camp. Your child can build robots, dance, become a lego master or gymnast, explore the outdoors and much more. Plus, all camps include art, swimming, games, and silly songs. Whether you enroll your child for just one two-week session, or all five, the summer without technology will be the summer to remember.

New this year, the Cardboard Camp offers creativity and imagination where campers build armor, participate in live adventure games, and search for lost relics.
