The Cinemark Movie Club exceeds 350,000 members representing over 1,000 members per cinema

(NYSE: CNK), a leader in the motion picture exhibition industry, today announced that Movie Club, the premier exhibitor-sponsored subscription program, has continued its growth and reached 350,000 active members, 45% of which were new to the exhibitor’s existing loyalty program. Movie Club members make up approximately 6 percent of Cinemark’s box office revenue and remain very engaged with a 75 percent redemption rate of Movie Club ticket credits.

The Movie Club offer is an anytime 2D movie ticket for $ 8.99 per month. In addition, the main differentiators of the program include:

  • Unused tickets to roll and never expires for active members;

  • A 20% discount on each visit;

  • Additional tickets and companion tickets available throughout the month at the member price of $ 8.99;

  • Possibility to reserve seats and purchase tickets in advance WITHOUT fees online;

  • Premium Format Ticket upgrades available for XD, 3D and IMAX; and

  • No risk – members can cancel anytime with six months to use unused movie credits.
